Saturday, November 6, 2010 was a day to top all days!!!! That morning we received a call from Elder Madsen that there were friends in the building who wanted to see us. We ran up [actually I took the elevator!] and there they all were: Floyd and Pam Hassinger, Celeste and Gordan Galbraith, and Becky Buckwalter and her daughter Emily! We laughed and cried and hugged and hugged and hugged. They took lots of pictures, and they brought gifts!!! -- Real cinnamon bears from America! [and cocoa and parmesean cheese]. We though we'd died and gone to heaven -- heaven is where those you love are, right!? We showed them our apartment and then it was time for church.
We walked them to the bus, hugged and cried some more, and then they were gone.
The smell and taste of cinnamon bears brings back that day over and over. Thanks so much for the best day so far!
